Brand Guideline as a Self Portrait
Brand Guideline as a Self Portrait
A LOVE LETTER TO ORGANIZATION AND GUIDELINES. TO ME. FROM ME.
What if I had brand and style guidelines for myself?
Process
This book is the result of extensive planning. Every section had a week dedicated to it.
Resources
For the second week, I designed my resource section. This included things like a special thanks section, inspirational quotes, and iconography that represented my hobbies.
Brand Guidelines
For the third week, I designed my brand guidelines. This went over my principles and organizational systems.
Style Guidelines
For the first week, I designed my style guidelines. Some elements this included were my handwriting, car, and how I organize my clothing.
Motifs
Many motifs in this book are things that hold personal significance to me.
The font used (Polymath) is my favorite font.
All font sizes are a multiple of 19. 19 is my favorite number.
The edges of the pages are decorated with a cacti pattern because I like cacti.
The main colors are red, purple, and green. They are my favorite colors but never go together very well. This project was a good excuse to use them together.
