How can I combine the beauty of Western Colorado, the values of the District Attorney’s office, and a compass all together into one nice neat logo?

    3 Versions were completed. One per week.

  • 3 Weeks

    Meetings were arranged and set up for each week for feedback.

  • 1 Logo

    At the end, only one logo would be chosen.

Process

There were a few things that weren’t negotiable. This logo had to be on a compass and the eight values had to be on the logo in an exact order with service being the “north star”.

Version 2

Total overhaul of logo. Now features the Maroon Bells, wild horses, and the Colorado River.

Version 3

Removed the diagonal directions and updated the horses.

Representing Three Counties

  • Pitkin County is represented on top in green by the world famous Maroon Bells.

  • Rio Blanco County is represented in brown by its Wild Horses.

  • Garfield County is represented in blue with the mighty Colorado River.
